The Ontario Hockey League has expelled Flint Firebirds president of hockey operations Terry Christensen following an investigation into remarks that violated the league’s range coverage.

The OHL stated in an announcement Thursday that Christensen was being dismissed for “conduct that’s prejudicial to the welfare of the league.”

The assertion didn’t go into element on the character of Christensen’s remarks. TSN’s Rick Westhead reported final week that Christensen was suspended after making an alleged inappropriate racial remark a few participant

The league stated an investigation into Christensen started after an allegation was introduced ahead by way of the OHL participant communications system.

Christensen was named the staff’s president of hockey operations on Might 7, 2021. He had earlier stints with the staff as normal supervisor and vp.
